The draw for the Devon Junior Cup first round has been made

THE draw has been made for the 2018/19 Devon Junior Cup.

There will be new winners this coming season as 2017/18 champions South Molton have moved up into the Devon Intermediate Shield following their promotion to the Cornwall/Devon League.

The draw was made by Devon RFU president Treve Mitchell, with the first round regionalised.

The first round will be played on Saturday, October 13, with the quarter-finals of both the cup and the shield pencilled in for November 10.

The first round is as follows:

A               Exeter Saracens v North Tawton

B               New Cross v Torrington

C               Exeter Athletic  v Ilfracombe

D               Old Technicians v Salcombe

E               DHSOB v Buckfastleigh

F               St Columba & Torpoint v Totnes

G               OPMS v Plympton Victoria

H               Dartmouth v Tamar Saracens

The draws for the cup and shield quarter-finals are below.  The winners of the first round games will go into the cup competition and the losers into the shield.

1       DHSOB/Buckfastleigh v Dartmouth/Tamar Saracens

2       OPM/Plympton Victoria v Exeter Athletic/Ilfracombe

4       New Cross/Torrrington  v  Old Techs/Salcombe

1       New Cross/Torrrington  v  Dartmouth/Tamar Saracens

2       DHSOB/Buckfastleigh  v  St Columba &Torpoint/Totnes

3       OPMS v Plympton Victoria  v Exeter Saracens/North Tawton

4       Exeter Athletic/Ilfracombe v Old Techs/Salcombe
