Mixed fortunes for Devon Schools' Under-16 teams against Gloucestershire
DEVON Schools’ under-16 teams enjoyed mixed fortunes on Sunday against Gloucestershire in wet conditions at Keyham.
The Devon A team produced a crisp and accurate display to score two tries in each half to beat their opponents 24-7.
Gloucestershire provided a genuine test, but Devon were even more organised than they had been in their first outing against Somerset, which they also won.
However, the Devon B team suffered their first defeat of the season when they were narrowly beaten 15-10 by Gloucestershire in a spirited game that could have gone either way.
The next matches for the under-16 team will be against Cornwall at Kelly College on Sunday, February 4.
