NORTH Tawton’s David Quick has received an RFU President’s Value the Volunteer Outstanding Contribution Award

The 55-year-old picked up his award from England head coach Eddie Jones after their autumn international match with Argentina.

David received VIP treatment on his visit to Twickenham. He had the chance to tour stadium and even had the opportunity to pop into the home dressing room prior to kick-off.

David has been volunteering at North Tawton for more than 25 years. He helps coach the men’s team, is team manager and until recently also coached the ladies. He only retired from playing himself last season and is also heavily involved in the ground maintenance and upkeep of the clubhouse. Along with his family, he is an integral part of North Tawton RFC.
