Withycombe spruce up their ground thanks to NatWest RugbyForce
WITHYCOMBE RFC have been busy preparing their ground for the new rugby season.
The Exmouth-based outfit were one of the Devon clubs to take part in the recent NatWest RugbyForce weekend.
A host of volunteers managed to get quite a few jobs done around Raleigh Park.
They concentrated their initial efforts on the ‘clubhouse corner’. They cleaned up the paving, repaired their wooden railings, rubbed down and re-treated their picnic benches and repaired and painted their scoreboard.
They also gave their entrance to the changing rooms a new coat of paint and picked up litter and gave the whole ground a tidy up.
Withycombe are also planning to spruce up their changing rooms and covered stand before the season gets underway.
