Information on how to travel to the Devon v Cornwall game at Ivybridge on May 13.

THERE is now less than one month to go before Devon RFU host Cornwall RFU at Ivybridge RFC in the Bill Beaumont County Championship.

Part of the reason Ivybridge was selected to host the game on Saturday, May 13, was not only was it available on that particular day (which not all grounds in Devon were), but because of its excellent transport links for supporters of both counties.

For those rugby fans unfamiliar with Cross-in-Hand, there is a railway station opposite the ground (approximately 400m walk), with a large park-and-ride car park.

There are direct trains available to Ivybridge from all the South West's mainline stations, including Exeter, Newton Abbot, Plymouth, Truro and Penzance. Great Western trains also offer group discount tickets, providing there are three adults.

There are also regular buses to Ivybridge from Totnes and Plymouth, while Ivybridge Community College has a large coach car park, which will be available on the day. Ivybridge itself is just off the A38.

Coaches from Cornwall will be able to turn around at the railway station and then park at the school.

There will not be any parking for general spectators inside the ground on the day. People travelling in cars are asked to use the park and ride car park or other car parks in Ivybridge. People are asked not to park on roads immediately outside the club.

Ivybridge town centre is 0.8 miles away from the rugby club.
