DEVON retained the under-18 girls’ Tamar Cup by beating rivals Cornwall 54-0 at Wessex RFC on Sunday.

The home side played some great rugby, with forwards and backs linking up well and creating plenty of opportunities.

They took six of those opportunities in the first half and then added another four tries after the break.

Kingsbridge’s Maddie Robinson led the way with a hat-trick of tries, while Liskead-Looe’s Ellen Lloyd and Devonport Services Molly Hann both collected two tries.

Devon’s other tries came from Crediton’s Emma Sing, Brooke Bradley and Sarah Nathan.

Devonport Services Boo Berry kicked two conversions.
