Exeter youngster makes national final of a kicking competition
A rugby mad youngster from Devon is through to a national final of a high-profile kicking competition.
Harrison Greenslade, who plays for Exeter Athletic’s under-15 side, won the regional section of the Alred Trophy, which took place at Taunton.
The annual trophy is organised by The School of Kicking, which began with England World Cup kicking coach Dave Alred.
The Alred Trophy tries to find the best under-18 rugby kicker in the UK and Ireland.
Each participant is tested on six disciplines – hang time, drop zone, downtown, longest drive, target restarts and the red zone.
Exeter’s Greenslade will now represent the South West at the finals in Nottingham.
