Nominations have now opened for the Mitsubishi Motors Volunteer of the Year awards for 2021.

This year’s awards will recognise the innovative ways in which volunteers have maintained engagement with their club members, supported the local community with their response to the pandemic, and recognise those who have championed diversity and inclusion at their club and helped to grow the game.

Torquay Athletic’s Jackie Coles and North Tawton’s Simon Quick were finalists in this year’s awards, which were held virtually this month.

This year there will be three national award categories - Resilience in Rugby Volunteer Award, Beyond Rugby Volunteer Award and Diversity & Inclusion Volunteer Award -  which anyone can nominate either an individual or a team of volunteers working on a particular project for, online here.
