GALLERY: Cullompton narrowly overcome Topsham to win Fisherman's Cup

CULLOMPTON won the Fisherman’s Cup with a hard-fought 24-22 final win over Topsham at Brixham on Sunday.

Cullompton’s Joe Blackburn picked up the player of the match award, which was presented by Luke Netherton of Brixham Trawler Agents .

In the shield final, Kingsbridge ran out 44-14 winners over Teignmouth with Alex Sheridan scooping the player of the match.

Crediton won the plate final, beating Bideford 19-5. Crediton’s Liam Newstand was awarded the player of the match, which was presented by Dennis Pope of Brixham RFC.

The finals day at Astley Park was well organised and the officials for the day were Gary Locke, Steve Bubyer, James Grant and Rheanna White.
