Positive start to the season for Devon's under-18 girls' squad

DEVON under-18 girls made a positive start to the new format county season with a trip to Downside School in Somerset for a South West festival.
The Green and Whites played Cornwall, Somerset and Gloucestershire in three 30-minute 15-a-side games and three 10-minute sevens matches.
Having had only one training session it did not take long for the squad to gel and put into action the game plan practiced only two days earlier. READ FULL STORY HERE

Devon Under-18 girls select squad for trip to Somerset

THIS weekend Devon U18 girls kick-off their season in the new format South West festivals with a trip to Somerset.
The new format sees teams play three, 30 minute 15-a-side games in the morning and three sevens or X7s games in the afternoon.
During the course of the festival Devon under-18s will play Cornwall, Somerset and Gloucestershire. READ FULL STORY HERE

Mixed fortunes for Devon girls' teams against Oxfordshire

THERE was mixed fortunes for Devon’s under-15 and under-18 girls’ teams in their matches against Oxfordshire at Camborne on Sunday.

The under-15 side made it two wins out of two in this year’s campaign with a 22-0 success. The under-18s, though, after beating Gloucestershire 62-12 in their last match were overcome 31-7 by a strong Oxfordshire side in Cornwall. FULL STORY HERE
